Today, customers have access to AT&T Fiber in many cities and communities across the state, including Chico, Sacramento, Fresno, San Jose, Los Angeles, and San Diego.
In 2023 alone, our dedicated AT&T employees in California worked to expand access to AT&T Fiber to nearly 170,000 customer locations in the state.

AT&T is expanding fiber and improving internet connectivity to benefit students who are learning online, employees who work and videoconference from home and small business owners who can expand to new markets.

AT&T is also working with Tribal Nations across California to bridge the digital divide and build resilient broadband networks for their communities. Last year, the San Pasqual Band of Mission Indians announced a new project with AT&T that will bring AT&T Fiber to 500 residential and small business locations on their Tribal land. And in 2022, the Rincon Band of Luiseño Indians announced plans to work with AT&T to help bring broadband service to more than 400 homes on Rincon Tribal land. These broadband networks will provide Tribal communities access to super-fast internet speeds, supporting economic opportunity, telehealth and remote learning.
