Reliable Connection, On the Road
AT&T has long worked with automotive manufacturers to help bring scalable connected vehicle solutions to market. With the introduction of 5G connectivity in the Lexus lineup, AT&T and Lexus are building a foundation for richer multimedia experiences and future-ready connected services. AT&T previously announced similar connectivity in Toyota vehicles in October 2025.
AT&T covers more roads than any other carrier1 and with AT&T Connected Car™, passengers can connect up to five Wi-Fi capable devices at 5G speeds. The AT&T network helps to ensure high-speed internet access for streaming, browsing, or working remotely. Connected Car service can be purchased from AT&T through the Lexus app, or by visiting att.com/connectedcar.
The debut of AT&T 5G connectivity helps support a broad range of new and enhanced multimedia features. A new embedded Voice Assistant solution enables faster responses to “Hey Lexus” prompts and other conversational voice commands, helping guests more easily manage audio, climate, trip information and vehicle settings. For the first time in Lexus Interface, native navigation is also integrated full screen in the digital gauge cluster, placing maps and turn-by-turn directions directly behind the steering wheel for added visibility and convenience.
The enhanced Lexus Interface with AT&T 5G connectivity will debut on the redesigned 2026 Lexus ES before rolling out to future Lexus models.
