Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Community

At AT&T, we are committed to recognizing, respecting and celebrating our Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) communities. Their history, heritage and continued contributions to our business and our society are a vital part of the inclusive world we’re working to build.

Workforce

Asian & Pacific Islander employees make up 7.8% of our U.S. workforce; 11.5% of managers; 4.0% of frontline employees.

In 2022, Asian & Pacific Islander employees made up 7.3% of our new hires.

Our Asian and Pacific Islander focused Employee Groups have more than 11,000 members.

Community

We will continue to partner and invest in organizations and projects that have a tangible and positive impact on the Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) communities that we serve.

In 2021, to address the violence against the AAPI community, AT&T and Warner Media (at the time) committed $7 million to combat and confront anti-Asian hate.

Customers

Engaging with our customers in the languages that reflect who they are and where they come from is just one of the ways that we let our Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) customers know how much we value them.

We engage with our customer base in their preferred languages. We have call centers with representatives who speak Vietnamese, Korean, Tagalog, Japanese and various Chinese languages.
