Midsummer Classic Whacks Data out of the Park

Many enjoyed the sights and sounds from the midsummer classic with their smartphones in hand.

Here’s what we saw from AT&T customers using our DAS, COW and nearby cell towers on the mobile network at the all star festivities:

  • In total, more than 2.4TB crossed our mobile network during this year’s event.                                      -2.4TB is the equal to more than 6.9M social media posts with photos.
  • The busiest traffic day on our network was yesterday, when more than 979GB crossed our mobile network.
