AT&T Launches Ultra-Fast Internet Speeds in El Paso

Speeds up to 1 Gigabit per Second Available on the AT&T GigaPower and AT&T Business Fiber Networks in parts of El Paso

AT&T¹ today launched ultra-fast internet service in parts of El Paso and surrounding communities.²   Customers in those areas will be able to get speeds up to 1 gigabit per second³ (Gbps) in homes, apartments and businesses.

Internet speeds up to 1Gbps over our 100% fiber AT&T GigaPower and AT&T Business Fiber networks are blazing fast.

• Backup/restore 1 terabyte hard drive in 2.5 hours.

AT&T GigaPower is currently available in several apartment complexes in the El Paso area.

Eligible El Paso area business customers can now download and upload speeds up to 1 gigabit per second (Gbps).⁵  AT&T Business Fiber is a blazing-fast Internet service available to businesses  in AT&T Fiber Ready buildings.

AT&T GigaPower offers a wide range of internet speeds to fit each customer’s needs, all the way up to 1Gbps for as low as $90 a month.⁶

AT&T GigaPower customers have access to the latest Wi-Fi technology. They can enjoy our best in-home Wi-Fi experience, faster Wi-Fi speeds, expanded coverage and support for all of their devices.

Customers may be able to choose between our award-winning DIRECTV or U-verse TV services. We have single, double and triple play offers to make it easy for customers to meet all of their needs in one stop.

The AT&T GigaPower network is currently available in over 1.6 million locations across 24 of the nation’s largest metro areas. We have plans to expand the availability of ultra-fast internet speeds up to 1 gigabit per second in parts of 32 more areas – at least 56 metros in total.

Ultimately, we’ll plan to reach more than 14 million residential and commercial locations with fiber.

AT&T Business Fiber

AT&T is investing in high-speed Internet in urban and rural areas using the latest wired and wireless technologies and has aggressively expanded its fiber footprint over the past few years, both to consumers and businesses.  We have expanded coverage to reach over 1 million incremental business customer locations in the US with over 213,000 of those in Texas. We currently have around 3,400 multi-tenant office buildings that are live with AT&T Business Fiber in Texas.
