As one of the world’s largest companies, we can play a role in creating a better, more environmentally sustainable future. We’re using our scale and technology to help solve some of our planet’s most pressing challenges.

Investing in Renewable Energy

AT&T is going big on renewable energy. We’re one of the largest corporate purchasers of renewable energy in the U.S., and our investments are helping to create jobs and enable a clean energy future. It’s one way we’re working to create a better, more environmentally sustainable world.

Reducing Emissions

Climate change is one of the world’s most pressing challenges. At AT&T, we’re working to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and help mitigate the impacts of climate change. We’ve set big goals, including our 10x goal to enable carbon savings 10 times the footprint of our operations by 2025. We’re making our operations more efficient and developing technology solutions to help our customers do the same.

Building Climate Resiliency

AT&T is taking steps to adapt to the changing climate. We’ve developed a Climate Change Analysis Tool and are working to assess the risks that climate change creates for our business today, so that we can make smarter, climate-informed decisions for years to come. We’re also sharing this data so others can use it in their own risk analysis. These actions are helping to build resilience for our business and, in turn, the communities we serve.

IoT For Good

We’re developing solutions that leverage the Internet of Things (IoT) for good. We’re using our IoT expertise to empower our customers to reduce their emissions and to make cities cleaner, safer and stronger through smart cities solutions.

Minimizing Waste

AT&T is working to minimize waste within our operations and to help our customers minimize theirs through our Eco-Ratings, Trade-in and device recycling programs.
