We’re continuing to grow the FirstNet device ecosystem with the Samsung Galaxy Note10 and Galaxy Note10+. Starting tomorrow, FirstNet subscribers can pre-order the latest Samsung Galaxy in AT&T stores nationwide or online. FirstNet users can also pick up the new devices in stores starting August 23.
Samsung Galaxy Note10 devices are FirstNet Ready™, which means they’ve been tested and approved to operate on the FirstNet network core. This gives first responders access to the critical capabilities that FirstNet enables. Plus, the devices support access to the FirstNet Band 14 spectrum, expanding the coverage and capacity that first responders have access to nationwide.
The Samsung Note10 and Note10+ bring first responders next-level power, delivering more than a phone – it’s also a notepad and computer. The Samsung Galaxy Note10 is the slimmest, most compact of the Note family.2 Plus, the Note10+ has the largest screen ever launched within the Note family and the best battery life.
The devices join the more than 125 devices already added to the FirstNet ecosystem, continuing our commitment to make the latest in consumer technology more purposeful and relevant to the public safety mission.
Not only does this bring public safety more device options to find the tool that best suits their needs, but the latest in device capabilities can unlock a world of new potential when merged with other elements of the FirstNet ecosystem – like the FirstNet App Catalog. Think video and live streaming capabilities with the Visual Labs or 10-21 Video apps. Incident management and group communication tools like Response for FirstNet, CrisisGo and Tango Tango. And apps like Pulsara for enhanced communication across clinicians, GD e-Bridge for mobile telemedicine, ArcAngel that lets the public share critical on-scene information with first responders or Automatic Injury Detection that sends alerts should a wearable sensing panel be pierced by a bullet, knife or other sharp object.
The hardware and software solutions we’re bringing forward with FirstNet are designed to help all members of the public safety community cost-effectively advance their capabilities, putting large and small, urban, suburban, rural and tribal agencies on the same playing field.
