In 1975, AT&T became one of the first major American corporations to adopt a policy prohibiting discrimination against employees based on sexual orientation. Although, we have a come a long way since 1975, we understand there’s still much work to do, and we are committed to standing behind the LGBTQ+ community.

Employees who self-report as being a member of the LGBTQ+ community make up 2.0% of our U.S. workforce; 2.2% of managers; 1.9% of frontline employees.

In 2022, employees who self-reported as being a member of the LGBTQ+ community made up 1.6% of our new hires.
