FirstNet, Built with AT&T is the only nationwide wireless broadband communications platform dedicated to America’s first responders and public safety community. As America’s public safety communications partner, we’ve moved faster than anyone to bring more coverage, boost capacity and drive new capabilities for first responders and the communities they serve – rural, urban and tribal.

FirstNet® already covers over 99% of the U.S. population today, but we aren't stopping there. In areas where coverage already exists, we’re deploying Band 14 – nationwide, high-quality spectrum set aside by the government specifically for FirstNet – providing public safety with truly dedicated coverage and capacity when they need it. We’re also launching new, purpose-built FirstNet cell sites across the country to expand rural and remote coverage in areas where emergency responses have been previously challenged by a lack of connectivity, as well as expanding first responders’ access to a one-of-a-kind 5G experience on FirstNet.

Currently reaching more than 2.81 million square miles across the country, FirstNet covers more first responders than any network in the U.S. And we’re not done yet.
