AT&T Continues to Support Linde’s Global Network
AT&T Puts its Foot on the Gas to Deliver Harmonized and Modernized Global Network for Linde
Companies extend relationship stretching back more than 10 years
AT&T* is extending its long-standing relationship with Linde+, a leading industrial gases and engineering company. The five-year extension for providing Linde’s global communications network will also support Linde’s transition towards the new digital ecosystem.
Linde has a long history of innovation, including the invention of air liquefaction in 1895. Fast-forward 125 years and it remains a market leader in production and distribution in its sector.
When Linde successfully closed its merger with Praxair in March 2019, creating a global provider of industrial and medical gases, the company needed to bring together employees from both companies across thousands of sites in multiple countries.
Utilizing the knowledge and relationships built up over the past 10 years, AT&T will continue to support Linde’s integration and modernization of its connectivity around the world.
“We’re delivering a single, fully managed global solution, continuously improving services, while keeping costs under control and providing central governance advantages versus local solutions,” said John Vladimir Slamecka, EMEA region president, AT&T. “We’re helping accelerate the group’s benefits from efficiencies created through the merger, thanks to our ability to build excellent and trusted relationships at all levels with the customer which gave them the confidence to move forward with us.
“We have a proven track record across the Region of advising and guiding customers through the complexity that surrounds modern communications solutions, and I am delighted the leadership team at Linde is trusting us to continue supporting them.”
“Our vision is to make this increasingly connected world more productive for our customers and employees,” said Sandeep Sen, Global CIO at Linde. “We have been working with AT&T since 2009 and look forward to their support as we take this next step on our networking journey within the group.”
“After successfully bringing two large and successful businesses together, we needed to ensure that there was continuity with our business-critical systems. The team at AT&T knew what we needed and were able to deliver those services and efficiencies at a very important time for the newly-expanded Group.”
