AT&T Adds to its Lineup of Foldable Devices with the New Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G
Customers can begin ordering online Aug. 7
AT&T* was the first U.S. carrier to bring you the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip earlier this year, and we’re doing it again – this time with 5G. The Galaxy Z Flip 5G is arriving at AT&T, providing an expansive smartphone experience in a compact design.
Customers can experience the AT&T 5G network with this transformational device beginning Aug. 7 for $1449.99.1 They can go to att.com/galaxyzflip5g or visit an AT&T Retail Store to buy the latest Z Flip 5G and get it delivered shortly after their purchase depending on customer demand and inventory ability.
“AT&T has always been a leader in bringing innovative products to our customers and the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G is no exception,” said David Christopher, executive vice president and general manager, AT&T Mobility. “That’s why we’re adding the first foldable 5G smartphone to our portfolio as customers stream, post and share more content than ever before.”
Access to our 5G network comes at no extra cost for customers on AT&T Unlimited Extra and AT&T Unlimited Elite plans. For those on the AT&T Unlimited Elite, you’ll also get access to HBO Max as part of your plan. Businesses also get 5G included in the AT&T Business Unlimited Performance, AT&T Business Unlimited Elite and AT&T Mobile Select Priority - Pooled plans.2
Along with the added benefits of AT&T 5G, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G is packed with the following standout features:
- Improved Foldable Experience: When folded, the Z Flip 5G is small enough to fit in your pocket. When open, it makes a BIG impact. The ability to fold your phone in the table-top position will make life easier by going hands-free during video chats, and splitting the screen between two apps will have you doing more at once.
- Elevated Design: With a Hideaway Hinge, minimized bezels and no notch, the Z Flip 5G maintains the sleek, bold form factor for ultimate portability. It takes a classic design to another level with Samsung Ultra Thin Glass and a 6.7” immersive Dynamic AMOLED screen. And, you won’t miss a beat because even when the phone is shut you can tap and swipe to view notifications on the cover.
- Improve Productivity: Multi-task like a pro with an enhanced Multi-Active Window by using the Multi-Window Tray to drag and drop the apps you want to use.3 More apps are now capable of this feature so you can have two apps up at the same time and do more at once.
- Flex Mode: Whether you’re taking a selfie or an overhead shot, the foldability of the Z Flip 5G makes it easy to get the perfect picture. The convenience of Samsung’s Flex Mode is now supported by more apps to optimize your content captures from any angle.
Plus, with AT&T Personal Cloud you can fold your memories right into your pocket so you can safeguard and easily access your device’s content across Android devices. Try it using our free 30-day trial with service starting at $4.99 per month. Please visit att.com/personalcloud for more details.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G is also FirstNet Ready™, which means first responders can use it to tap into the power of FirstNet® - America’s public safety communications network. FirstNet Ready devices are tested and approved to operate with services using the FirstNet LTE network core. This gives public safety access to the critical capabilities that FirstNet enables, like the full power of AT&T’s LTE network, including Band 14 spectrum, which serves as a VIP lane for first responders.4
