AT&T Brings Fullscreen’s Digital Stars to the Big Screen TV
Fullscreen Originals Join AUDIENCE® Network Lineup Starting July 9
AT&T* is shaking up traditional TV with new millennial-focused programming on AUDIENCE Network. DIRECTV and U-verse TV customers can “Snack on Fullscreen” in weekly and daily segments starting Saturday, July 9.
Those who grew up on Saturday morning sitcoms in the 90s can enjoy a 1-hour programming block airing Saturdays at 12 p.m. ET / 9 a.m. PT. It will showcase full episodes of premium Fullscreen content and other scripted originals. Prior to these showings on AUDIENCE Network, only customers with the Fullscreen subscription video on demand (SVOD) service could access these shows.
Viewers who also want a quick bite of content can watch “Snack on Fullscreen” throughout the week. New 8-10 minute segments will air on Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons. This block will feature shorter clips with premium content from some of Fullscreen’s biggest stars.
“The best in digital-first content for millennials is coming to an even bigger stage,” said David Christopher, chief marketing officer of AT&T Entertainment Group. “It’s a natural extension of our work with Fullscreen and we’re excited to bring the worlds of mobile video and premium TV entertainment together for our customers.”
These AUDIENCE Network segments will include several shows from Fullscreen SVOD:
- “Jack & Dean of All Trades,” rising U.K. comedians take on a variety of temp jobs with hilarious results
- “Making Moves,” an L.A.-based dance drama by John Swetnam (“Step Up All In”)
- “Veitch 101,” British comedian and author James Veitch skewers technology
- “Single + Swiping,” a docu-series exploring the harsh realities of dating apps
- “Chad Future TV,” a journey to Seoul, South Korea with the K-Pop influenced American musician
“As a leader in social-first entertainment, Fullscreen is pushing the envelope,” said Chris Long, senior vice president of Original Content & Production, AT&T Entertainment Group. “They deliver the kind of interesting stories and formats we welcome on AUDIENCE network.”
“Our collaboration with AT&T has been built upon our shared DNA in understanding and serving a connected generation of viewers,” said Fullscreen Chief Operating Officer Andy Forssell. “With AUDIENCE Network, our premium content, featuring talent and stories that are wildly popular with online audiences, joins a distinctive programming lineup from AT&T that can’t be seen anywhere else.”
AT&T was the premier launch sponsor of Fullscreen SVOD. This is just a sample of what’s available on the $4.99-per-month service. AUDIENCE Network is the only place on TV to find this content, exclusively available for DIRECTV and U-verse customers on DIRECTV Channel 239 and U-verse Channel 1114.
We will announce additional programming in the months ahead.
