With their unique skills and innovative ideas, our diverse suppliers bring a valuable perspective to the table that benefits everyone – our customers, our communities and our company. Through our Supplier Diversity program, we aim to stimulate job growth, improve opportunities for technical training and be a catalyst to stimulate new diverse businesses.

AT&T has spent $230 billion with businesses and enterprises owned by minorities, women, service-disabled veterans, LGBTQ+, and people with disabilities in the last 54 years. We’re among the top companies in identifying and doing business with diverse suppliers.

In 2022, AT&T’s supplier spending contributed directly to supporting over 400,000 diverse jobs with AT&T suppliers and subcontractors, including 190,000 jobs for people of color and 220,000 jobs for women.
We also continue to drive diversity, equity and inclusion across our business and the communities where we live and work by further exceeding our commitment to spending $3 billion with Black-owned suppliers.

In 2022, we exceeded our goal to spend 4% of our media budget with diverse suppliers, spending 5% of our media budget with diverse suppliers, of which more than 50% was with Black-owned media companies. We’re proud to be recognized by top diversity, equity and inclusion organizations for our support of diverse communities, including DiversityInc, which recognized AT&T as a Top Company for Supplier Diversity (#2) in 2022.
