Blind and disabled veterans can’t access VA websites, report says
Despite the fact that 27% of all veterans have a service-connected disability — and more than 1 million veterans are blind or have low vision — only 8% of VA’s public-facing websites and 6% of its internal sites are fully compliant with federal accessibility law, according to a Senate Special Committee on Aging report.

Packaging update boosts accessibility of Kellogg cereal
Kellogg Co. is adding NaviLens technology to four of its cereals’ packaging in the U.S. to assist the blind and those with low vision to promote equitable access to food. Using the apps, consumers can hear the name, package size, nutritional information and more details about the cereal in up to 36 different languages.
