AT&T’s 5G+ now available to businesses, residents and visitors in iconic parts of Tampa Bay area.

What’s the news? AT&T just launched its 5G+ service in some popular areas and venues across Tampa. 5G+ is AT&T’s name for 5G service delivered using millimeter wave spectrum, which is ideal for high-traffic areas.

Why is this important? Those who live, work and play in the Channel District, attend big games (like the one on Feb. 7) at Raymond James Stadium or fly into or out of Tampa International Airport will now have access to the super-fast speeds and increased connectivity that are ideal for popular areas like these.

Who can use this? For our customers who have a compatible device and a qualifying plan, AT&T 5G+ will enable incredible innovation and unlock immersive experiences – especially when larger public gatherings are permitted once again. AT&T 5G+ will bring faster speeds and greater connectivity to our customers who are spending time in these popular parts of the Tampa Bay area.

“What AT&T 5G+ will bring to parts of Tampa is really incredible. The increased speeds are impressive, but what’s even more remarkable are the innovations that will come along with the network’s lower latency and increased capacity. I’m excited for our customers in the Tampa Bay area to experience what AT&T 5G+ will enable and I can’t wait for more parts of the city to come online.”
